My name is Emma Zacherl, and I am a 17 year old artist from western Pennsylvania.

My favorite medium to use is water-mixable oils, and I love painting subjects with historical context.

I have won the Congressional Art Competition for PA District 15 for the past three years. I was the 2025 first place student (14-18) winner in the Oil Painters of America student competition and an Honorable Mention winner in 2026.

After graduating, I plan to attend college to earn a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting. Afterwards, I hope to go to graduate school for Art Conservation.
